Sisters Scrapbook Page

I am still very new to scrapbooking, so bear with me. I am trying to improve on my ink distressing techniques. If you know how to teach me, PLEASE DO!!! :-) I would love to hear any good tricks or tips. I am getting tired of papers looking all smudged up...Errrrrrr's ART!

I used Storybook Cart, for the flower on upper left corner, and the flourish below the quote.  The flowers between the girls are from a SVG I created on my own. The picture frame is from SVGCuts-- free SVG blog. The silhouette is from a picture I found off the internet.

some help and tips on distress ink!! ok first do u have the craft mat (ranger makes one about $15)or i have also found that wax paper works pretty good...start off your paper on the mat or wax paper in small circular motions..LIGHT..i was using way to much's the thing the wax or mat helps spread the distress evenly so u dont get those harsh marks on the paper..if u go to tim holtz web sight and watch some videos..just seeing it might explaine it better than me..good luck!!
