We bought a new computer few weeks ago! It's a touch screen all-in-one, and we are really enjoying it. Especially my kids--- of course, the screen is all smudged with fingerprints every single day.
I used to create SVGs on our laptop and it was fine, but few months ago, it started acting up and gotten so slow that I would avoid it altogether. I felt guilty for neglecting my blog.
There are few things I've learned in life:
1. If it's easy, then it's more accessible and even more fun to do.
2. If it's easy AND available, then I'd be more likely to use it.
Like for example, I got a pasta machine (the cranking kind) for Christmas few years ago. I loved making pasta because the machine made it so easy to do. I would make pasta at least once a week. Then the gears inside got worn down, and now it isn't very easy to do. Cranking is hard, it would make a terrible rattling sound every time I crank. I no longer have the desire to make fresh pasta once a week, (maybe once a month at best). I miss making fresh pasta. Se how #1 and #2 applies here.
On my wish list is a new pasta machine that attaches to my KitchenAid mixer. :-)
Our old laptop was in a very small corner of our living room and yet, not that accessible (small cramped space).
So, when we got our new computer, we changed desks, and moved it to a bigger room, and wow, it sure made a big difference! I feel like I got more room, and it's a clean slate for me. So, here's my first SVG created on our new computer. I hope you will like it, since it's useful in many ways.
